Bryan W. Mattimore is co-founder and “Chief Idea Guy” of the Growth Engine Company, a twenty-four-year-old innovation consulting agency based in Chicopee, MA. In his marketing and innovation consulting career, Bryan has managed over two hundred successful innovation projects, leading to over $3 billion in new revenue for one-third of the Fortune 100 companies. Clients include Amazon, American Express, Unilever, BNY Mellon, Shell, Pfizer, AT&T, Microsoft, Ford, L’Oréal, Sony, Chrysler, J & J, Procter and Gamble, State Farm, Newman’s Own, Mondelez, the US Copyright Office, Kraft, Nestle, the USTA, NACCE, Fast Company and Time Magazines, Unilever, and The American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
Bryan is also a sought-after industry trade and association keynote speaker and has given over 200 keynote speeches to audiences as large as 3,000 people on a wide variety of creative thinking, ideation, marketing and innovation best practices. For over twenty years, he has also taught a creativity training class, “Ingenious Problem Solving,” for such diverse groups as copywriters and art directors at Ogilvy and Mather, auditors at the Comptroller’s Office with the State of New York, LVMH and Sephora district managers, drilling engineers at Halliburton, and department heads with the City of New York.
Bryan’s seven books on ideation and innovation process include the seminal ideation process book Idea Stormers, How to Lead and Inspire Creative Breakthroughs (Wiley Jossey-Bass), his entrepreneurial primer 21 Days to a Big Idea (Diversion Books) for helping current and aspiring entrepreneurs generate their “next big thing” (named by four minute books as one of the 60 best business books of all time), and 99% Inspiration (Amacom) a creative problem solving and creativity training book selected as the American Management Association’s membership offering/book of the year. He is also a contributor to the book, The Other Side of Growth, An Innovator’s Responsibilities in an Emerging World. His newest book on innovation centers, Islands of Invention, will be published in the Winter of 2023.
A cum laude graduate of Dartmouth with a major in psychology, Bryan is on the Board of Advisors of the Global Innovation Institute, a Senior Fellow with the Conference Board, and an innovation and marketing instructor for Caltech and TCU in their Executive Education Departments.
Jane is the founder of Bedside Reading®, the world’s leader in placing and promoting books and authors in 5-star luxury hotels, the Hamptons, and the Media. This year, Jane celebrates 22 years of placing books in the Hamptons (through her companies, Buzz Bags and Madison & Mulholland). In 2017, Jane re-launched and re-branded the business officially launching Bedside Reading®, providing authors the opportunity to expand their fan base by placing books physical books, audiobooks, and eBooks) in luxury hotels, creating book marketing events from Aspen to Santa Monica.
In 2020, when COVID hit the travel industry, Jane published her first “Official Hamptons Booklovers Guide,” Bedside Reading, The Magazine, which was distributed throughout the hotels in the Hamptons with subsequent issues distributed by Publishers Weekly and Hollywood Weekly nationwide.
Ubell-Meyer is a former TV/Film producer, her credits include GMA, ET, and WSJ-TV. She also produced several films. Leona Helmsley: The Queen of Mean, Sioux City, and Precious Find.
Jane spent a year working for Hearst Magazines Branding and Licensing division before creating the award-winning company, Madison & Mulholland which was one of the world’s leaders in celebrity gifting. The company was known for their excellent commitment to luxury gifting and working with Oscar, Emmy, Grammy winners and nominees. She produced celebrity gifting lounges in Los Angeles, New York, and Miami for major movie studios and events.
Jane spent seven years teaching students the finer elements in how to become an entrepreneur at New York Fashion Institute of Technology.
